Athletes use Bathtub Yoga to Ease Sore Muscles after Workout

sore muscles yoga     The stiffness you often feel after a hard and strenuous work out is due to a build up of lactic acid in our muscles. Yoga is a great way to relieve sore muscles! Simple ways to encourage it’s release are:

Drink lots of liquids before, during, and after work

Post-exercise stretching, focusing on muscles used more frequently.

Increase circulation with hot water.

Bathtub Yoga incorporates all 3 for a powerful flushing action !  Soaking in a hot bath causes blood vessels to dilate which increases blood flow and loosens connective tissue, easing stiff and tight muscles.
